A new tea for The Teahouse and one that we are all really enjoying.
This is another of our handmade teas, picked in early spring each year and shaped by hand to produce an elegant green tea.
Each leaf is long, thin and gently twisted. The array of down covered tips provide a stunning contrast to the darker leaves.
The aroma is fresh and floral and the cup delivers a similar experience; clean and crisp, very refreshing with a light sweetness and a slightly nutty finish.
This tea benefits from a short infusion time, and can therefore be enjoyed over several infusions.

Brewing
Allow water to cool to 75-80 degrees. Use 2-3g per cup and infuse for 2-3 mins. We have found that a short first infusion works really well, followed by an additional 30 seconds each time.

I have not tried this tea before, but I am so glad I did, light but fully flavoured, floral and refreshing. Think I might have a new favourite. Thanks lovely people at The Teahouse! :)
